Produced in the cool mountainous region surrounding Kathmandu, this exquisite paper offers something completely unique to artists. Hand-made from the fibres of indigenous plants, these papers provide an organic, irregular texture, perfect for beautiful, natural watercolours and drawings. These qualities can be exploited to great effect when used in mixed media projects and layering, specifically so with the Asara Flowers within the paper.

The Lokta Natural paper is a 65gsm, soft white, made with the inner bark from two species of Daphne plant. The Asara Flower is a 55gsm paper with the petals of the flower itself within the fibres, providing a totally unique surface.
