Matthew Palmer has been painting seriously for over 20 years and has always had a passion for watercolour painting. He particularly enjoys painting at the scene, believing 'you can't beat sitting there and painting from life'.

Based on the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire border, Matthew has been teaching watercolours for well over 12 years and also organises workshops, exhibitions and holidays for artists of all abilities to attend. As well as this Matthew also attends major art events, contributes to popular art magazines and appears regularly on Sky on the Painting and Drawing Channel.
