When added to oil paint, this Gel Medium thickens the paint allowing you to build up depth and create texture. It preserves the consistency of the oil paint without making it too fluid, thereby enabling artists to layer colours effectively. It also speeds up drying time.

The Green for Oil range offers the same properties as traditonal additives, but are derived from plant, animal or mineral based renewable raw materials, with a focus on biomass-based sources. They respect sanitary and environmental standards, and have been created with sustainable development in mind - with fantastic and very effective results!
