is there a suitable liquid clear for use with acrylics for wet on wet painting
The Bob Ross Liquid Clear is an oil-based medium which is used for wet in wet techniques in oil paint.
There is not a specific medium which does the same in acrylics as they dry too fast for wet in wet techniques.
There are mediums which can be used to reduce the drying time of acrylic and enable you to have more time the blend the acrylic on the surface.
These are called retarders or slow drying mediums
There is also an acrylic paint which allows you to blend and mix for longer.
Atelier interactive is and acrylic paint which acrylic dries at the same rate of traditional acrylics but it does not cure which means they are able to be rewetted with water for a short period then with Unlocking formula to allow you to revisit areas and re work. You can keep the acrylic paint wet with a a spray f water or unlocking formula while you work.
