Description

Made from 50% cotton and 50% cellulose, Flamboyant watercolour paper has an extra rough surface, ideal for adding effortless texture and interest to your paintings. This revolutionary material from Clairefontaine is unlike any other watercolour paper on the market.

The texure is created by water droplets being sprayed onto the surface as it comes through the mill. The droplets give a natural irregular grain - ideal for adding an organic,
unforced level of texture to your paintings.

Please note - the nature of the paper means it is unsuitable for use with masking fluid.

Available in loose sheets, or in a 20 sheet blocks, this truly original paper will revolutionise your watercolour painting!

"What a really exciting paper! Totally different to anything else I’ve ever tried before. The unique surface texture makes watercolour paint do lovely things, adding lots of interesting textural effects to your work. If you are a keen watercolourist who likes experimenting, I’d definitely give it a go."
