The Winsor & Newton Winton Long Flat Hog Brush is produced to the same exacting specification as the Short Flat/Bright but with a longer bristle length for greater spring and freer marks. Often used with more fluid colour.
The bristle is finest chinese hog, handset into seamless, corrosion resistant ferrules, using the natural curve of the bristle to produce a resilient brush that will retain its 'turned-in' shape even after heavy use, allowing the artist more control and accuracy, whether painting with oils, alkyds or acrylics.
The solid wood handles are stained to give an attractive grained wood effect with four coats of lacquer to serve as protection and to produce the smoothest possible finish.
