Watercolour Wade's Way
This film concentrates on three main areas of watercolour painting: the all important use of tonal values, the use of colour and the way to approach figures in a painting. With simple exercises for you to practise and experiment, with clear instruction and several finished paintings, Bob demonstrates the many ways in which you can improve your watercolour techniques.
Simply Watercolour
Bob emphasises that one should choose a simple subject and paint it in a simple, straightforward manner. Working in and around the town of Leuven in Belgium, he paints a lake with reflected trees and buildings, an old mill, a group of houses seen from a distance and a very fine old university building. In addition he shows us the fun to be had from changing the mood of a scene by altering the colours.
