The cornerstone of this Aquarelle paint range was developed in 1893, but recent additions of modern pigments provide improved lightfastness and stability. The Sennelier watercolour pigments are prepared in the traditional manner, first being soaked in purified water before being ground on granite millstones to achieve maximum fineness and optimum dispersion. The range of 80 highly pigmented colours use a binder of the finest pure gum arabic from Kordafan, mixed with glycerin.
Sennelier Aquarelle Extra Fine Watercolour Paints come in 10ml tubes, which are larger than most manufacturers' standard sizes, representing excellent value for money. Sennelier Aquarelle is also available in half pans.
