Each Derwent Black Paper Sketch Pad contains 20 pages of 200gsm, heavyweight black paper which is very resilient and will take a minimum of 10 layers of pencil before the surface begins to deteriorate. It can also be used with water- soluble pencils for light washes, ideal for landscapes.
Black paper really brings coloured pencil art work to life making subjects appear even more colourful and vibrant. The bright, intense colours of Derwent Metallic, Coloursoft and Inktense Pencils are particularly enhanced when used on black paper. These pads are available in A3, A4 and A5 sizes.
