This is a battery operated single hole pencil sharpener from Jakar. It operates automatically when the pencil is inserted, to produce a neat and accurate pencil point. As a safety feature the pencil sharpener will not operate when the pencil shaving receptacle is not in place.
The unit operates on 4 x 1.5v AA batteries or a 6V mains adaptor (neither provided). Double hole version also available.
