A special feature of the permanent ART GRIP colour pencils is their ergonomic triangular cross-section with the patented grip zone consisting of hundreds of raised dots. They allow you to guide the pencil accurately without it slipping through your fingers. In addition, this non-slip grip zone means that the hand does not tire, even after prolonged use.
The leads are 3.3 mm thick, waterproof and non-smudge; they have a rich smooth feel in use and contain high-quality pigments with bright saturated colours. The light fastness is high.
Faber-Castell coat these ART GRIP pencils in a water-based eco-friendly varnish, and the leads are specially bonded to prevent breakage. Each pencil has a dip-painted end in the lead colour so that you can quickly and easily select the right pencil.
