Liquitex offers a variety of special products including Fluid Mediums, Gel mediums, Texture Gels and Additives which have been specifically designed to achieve various techniques, applications, and special effects.
Fluid Medium Effects
These Liquitex mediums increase flow. They extend the volume of thin paint and will dry transparent or translucent. They make an excellent archival adhesive for collage.
Gel Medium Effects
Liquitex gel medium effects add body and increase “open” time. They extend the volume of paint, hold brush or knife marks and dry transparent or translucent. They also make an excellent archival adhesive for collage.
Texture Gels
Liquitex texture gels come in a wide range of textures to suit many styles and applications. They are flexible and water-resistant when dry and do not yellow.
Additives
Liquitex additives should be used sparingly and only in the amount needed to achieve the desired effect. They do not add transparency to the paint film. They are available in both fluid and gel viscosities.
